John Parker (American)

American leader John Parker had ~15 years of military experience. That's a good amount of time. Trained in guerrilla tactics, he was better at commanding small militia groups. His famous quote at the Battle of Lexington and Concord was, "Stand your ground; don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here!"
