Aftermath

As the battle progressed, the British soldiers began ignoring orders from their captain, which initially resulted in confusion and eventually led to desertion. Only a small number of American weapons got destroyed in the storeroom. The main reason the Americans won was because of their military manpower and tactical knowhow.
